something wrong missfiring badly ?

i have a 1g head in my 2g i did the swap months ago and i recently pulled the head to replace the gasket and now it miss fires bad i put new plugs and wires and its the same when i reset the comp.. it works fine for a few minite after me getting on it, it starts to do it again i have no idea what it could be it only misses when im under 1/4 throtle, full thortle its fine someone help me thanks

I would check all the basic things that would cause a misfire after you did something fairly involved such as a headgasket. i.e. boost leak check, compression test, leak down test if you have the tools etc. Also, when you are on full throttle, your ECU is in open loop mode which doesn't read actual values from a lot of your sensors. WHen you are in 1/4 throttle you ECU will read every sensor so if you left something unplugged, or a sensor got damaged, you will only notice it under partial throttle. Hope this helps.
