1G Something wrong

Alright, so my alternater went out. I bought a new alternator, bought a new battery. Car was acting very funny before hand. Now that I have the new stuff the car starts and charges the battery perfectly. But something is still wrong, seatbelts dont work, headlights wont pop up, when you open the doors it doesn't make the normal beeping sound, it makes a weird ass croaking sound like some kind of frog. When I try to get on the gas like this, just pops like a bi***, kind of sounds like its knocking. Don't know if something is shorting out somewhere but I could really use the help right now, I'm cleary puzzled with this car, its one thing after another.

Have you checked the voltage at the battery and the alternator to see if it is even putting out the proper voltage. I changed my alternator once and replaced my battery and forgot to hook the alternator back up to the battery. Make sure that is hooked up as well. I felt like a retard when it happened but it happens to the best of us.

It is staying right around 12 volts and the alternator is pushing 15 volts, it all seems to be charging right just acting funny, like something is shorting out. Can you think of anything?

Also, it sounds like a weird clikcing when I turn the key coming from the Throttle body.

Is this on your 1g or 2g? Both my 1g and 2g click under the hood when I turn the key sometime's. Did you mess with anything else when you put the alternator on?

This is actually chances brother and its on my 1g.

Are you saying that with the car off the battery reads 12v and with the car running it reads 15v? If that's the case then I'd check all of your fuses- under hood as well as under dash fuses. There are a couple of circuits that can backfeed minimal amounts of power if it's main powersource has an open circuit (blown fuse). A power backfeed from another circuit will give you that dying frog sound. If you have an alarm installed that is usually a major source of backfeed. The backfeed of power won't be your problem, however. Look for blown fuses, corroded electrical connections, and grounds that you may have forgot to bolt back down tight.

I am going with this, check your fuses first, easiest thing to fix.
