ok 2 days ago, my car started making a high pitched whine at acceleration, about 1 time in 25-30 accelerations. Now it is doing it about 1 in 15.

check engine light goes on last night, autozone said its p0140 i think, the back oxygen sensor is not responding or something like that

and now the car is starting to make a weird noise when trying to start the engine, starts up fine though.

and i had my system in for about a week, at first, the lights would not dim at 18 volume, but now they will until I run the car for a few minutes, then they wont

what is going on? is it just the o2 sensor? or is my starter and alternator going too?

The wine MIGHT be due to your system drawing to much power. What are you trying to push? My Jetta Started doing that because i was drawing way to much power so i had the altinator redone adding more amps. Hope that might help alittle. :dsm:

your alternator could be going out and not spinning freely, that is why you would be getting the belt whine and the dimming problems, have it tested. Autozone and Pepboys will do it for free
