basically, my car was parked in a parking lot a block or so away from where i was. I come back, and get into my car and notice a big bump in the floor right in front of my seat in the floor space. It didnt really get into my way at first so i figured id find out when i got home. turns out someone tried to jack up my car or something in the wrong spot in front of the side jack spot, and pushed the floor up!? so basically i dunno what to do and im pretty pissed about it, and it creaks softly sometimes, so yea, i dunno how i would fix this one up
any help would be appreciated....oy thanks guys.
:barf:

first thing i would do is report that some biatch to the police department saying someone tried to steal your car and messed the car up real bad. Then give a call to the insurance company and collect some money. Get that thing fixed by yourself and make out. Buy some aftermarket parts with the leftover cash. But then i would ask around and see who tried to jack your car up? maybe they wanted your rims and were not familiar with a pinch weld? Definitely figure out who tried though. Thats what is nice about having some friends that do shady stuff. They can find out who tried to do some shady stuff to your car.

thanks for the advice man. alright im mos def gonna make the report that it happened. collecting from the insurance company is probably the best way to go, and then fix it by myself. hopefully i can make out with some mods by then...sigh. thanks, any other suggestions would be appreciated too, thanks.

pull your carpet and check to see if the sheet metal was penetrated(hole). If there is a hole there, 1. cut out the section weld in a patch panel, 2. grind down the welds, 3. and spray it with underbody coating or any other kind of rust inhibitor. If there is no penetrating hole, get a sheet metal hammer and a dolly and smack it flat. Then, do step 3 rom above.

p.s. watch out for any brake or fuel lines when you weld.
p.s.s. you can braze it if you dont have a welder.(brazing kits are pretty cheap)
