ok so i was on a fishing trip yesterday, i was on an open road so i finly toped my car out at 130 when the speed gov. kicked in. now the day after the car will not idle right, it jumps from 400 rpm to 700 rpm when idling and it jumps back and fourth and everywhere in between. does anyone know whats going on? there are no lights on the dash so i have no clue.

NGK BPR6ES plugs. They are cheap at any local NAPA. Probably 6 bucks total. I would also recommend a boost leak test as stated earlier in the thread.

ok boost test was done, guess what no leaks! next step plugs.

Ya check your plugs.. plug cables... NGK BPR6ES plugs are really cheap to replace, I found them at my local farm and fleet of all places aswell. Just incase your autozone, oreilley, etc... doesn't have them.

Take it to an major auto parts store and they can run a test on the plugs for free, heck they might even be able to tell whats wrong. They give the the codes when the check engine light is on for free so they should do this for free too. I know you might not think that some of those guys are very knowledgable but they have some nice diagnostics computers, its worth a shot.
