How many psi does the stock turbo in a 1996 talon tsi run (t-25 i think?) How many psi can the engine safely run? What else is needed, just a boost controller and boost guage? How hard are these to install? How much hp would 3-4 psi add?

The T25 runs 12-14psi stock. Free mods, IC pipes and open element filter would probably bring it up to 1-2 psi.

Boost gauge is a must since the 2g gauge is useless. Both the gauge and controller are rather easy to install. There are many guides on this site that will help you install the gauge and controller properly. Make sure you get quality gauges.
