Hello everyone!!
I am new to the whole DSM thing, I have no idea what all the lingo is but I am sure I will figure that out in time. I do have some small questions about this car I just got.
It is a 1995 GSX and it is running LEAN! I have an air/fuel ratio gauge that came with it. It has a manual boost controller, I think the boost is to high it sits somewhere close to 15 PSI. I know it needs a tune as well. Just wanna know if I turn the boost down if it will help the Lean issue at all.
These cars are OBD 1 but they throw Check Engine Codes?? The light on the dash is on, I thought that was strange.
The car has to be push started everytime, but the starter is good, I could not find a Starter Relay/Fuse or anything. I am just wondering if there is one at all.
I would also like to know the easiest and cheapest way to tune these cars, just to get them running correctly.
I really love this car so far and I am excited to learn. I just want to fix these small issues to get it running well.
Thanks guys!
