Some progress, and a question.

I finally got to do some more work on my 95' Fwd TSi.

I just picked up a buschur 16g and a reman'd 1st gen head. I just finished bolting the head on and putting the 2nd gen cams in. My BSE kit should be here today or tomorrow...then i can finish this motor up and throw it in.

Its a 99' rebuilt bottom end, with the reman'd 1st gen head. Is the t-stat housing all i need from the 1st gen. My IM and all bolted right up. The t-stat housings are differant though.

Its not much to look at now, just an engine on a stand. I just wanted to make sure i was right in my thinking.

Shit, i wish.... I get to play Santa, .

I am waiting on my BSE kit, which the UPS guy should have dropped yesterday. My new manifold should be here by the weekend, then i can work on my downpipe.

Its been a little slower process than i hoped, at least its moving forward now.
