I just returned from a 3 week visit to the UK and didn't see a single DSM. Kinda disappointing. At least "debbie" drives one.

This site is the first i ever joined, in this i mean first ever form i filled in on any web site and as i said being the dumb ass i am i thought user name was a kind of pass word i needed to remember so you guessed it i went for the wife’s name and you can imagine the surprise i got when i seen it up on any post i make

I flew into Heathrow, spent a few days in London, then rented a car and drove all over the place...2141 miles in 12 days Stayed in Brighton, then Bath, Chester, Ambleside, Edinburgh, Kyle of Lochalsh, Glasgow, Hebden Bridge, Holyhead Island (my sis lives there), then dropped the car in Liverpool. Flew to Paris for 5 days (no driving there), then back to London one more night before flying back. Spent all of my suspension upgrade money on the trip, but it was worth it Just wish I had rented a sports car for all the driving I did in the Lake District...it was still fun tearing it up in the Nissan Note .

hope you enjoyed the lakes, take any pics, how did you get on with the liverpool accent

Lake District was gorgeous for sure...I could totally spend an entire vacation there. And over the course of the entire trip I took 1700 photos

Accents weren't that hard for me to decipher most places, as long as both me and the other person didn't have too many pints haha. My gf got lost in conversation a few times, though. The ones that required the most concentration for me were in northern Scotland, because they were so thick. I didn't offend anyone, so I'll call it a success!
