Hey, no real up to date info on these bad boys. Is it pretty much find your own machine shop or are there any shops out there still making them? I'm interested in front and rear seeing how I am an awd owner. I don't have much faith in any shops around my area so I'm trying to find a source! I would of posted in an older thread but I can't.

Thanks for any help!

LOL, im sorry, but i cant even come up with a retort for that remark.

Magic #300....

Bottom line, if you want solids, go for it, just keep in mind, like a fat chick, they arent for everyone.

Ive heard of 2G's breaking the tranny housing due to solid MM's though, so keep that in mind.

strengthen one thing, weakin another!

What a bunch of crap! :p I've driven with solid mounts for years with a HARD hitting small 16g turbos tod05h 18g turbos, bolton hx35s. You'll break the gearset before you break the case.

Remember Mr. claus, common setup doesn't always mean it's the best setup or even a good one! Although I don't think it's all the common, especially on daily drivers.

Never driven a dsm with solid front/rear rollstops? :)

I've been getting a lot of people bitching about what I'm charging to make these inserts. I dont think most people understand how much time is involved in turning down somthing that large in a lathe. If I had a CNC lathe, where I could set it and do something else, it'd be different. but I spend hours on the lathe, and have to drive an hour just to get where its at. Another thing is the price of the aluminum, that shit is outrageous. On a different note, I had to remove the timing belt mount on my engine yesterday to get the the front of the motor, the motor was suspended in the air by the back solid mount, and the front mount I made out of some chromoly tubing and heim joints. It had ZERO movement. The front mount I made, clears my 4088 and weighs next to nothing. It removes that big ass front mount, and makes more room for oil drain line and i.c piping.

Well, i'm sold. ;)

i don't think your prices are bad. People want somethin for nothin! I need to check some local shops to see if they can press these things in.
