I plan on doing the cheap bastard solid motor mounts, and was wondering when doing solid motor mounts for an AWD should you do all 4 or just the front and rear two. I don't mind vibration at all, that's why the seats are filled with foam. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The front and rear are the only ones that need to be done. Doing the side one won't give you any more benefit.

Even with the drive shaft torquing on the transmission? I guess it makes sense and would be alot less work.

I read this post and have been keeping up to date with it. Being a DSM owner and wanting to keep the budget to a minimum to reach my goals I think the quarter inch plate steel is the way I'm wanting to go. I was just curious since this is the route that I am choosing to take if the rear driveshaft in the AWD is going to cause any side to side motion that the solid mounts would help alleviate. Which is why I asked 2 or 4. I prefer the 2 answer but would like the personal opinions of AWD owners with both 2 and 4 mounts done. Since your saying solid front and back and poly side to side, the front to back play is more crucial than side to side. So I know where to begin. Any and all output is appreciated. I know though that at a stop light my car is going to rattle and vibrate and I will know any screw that is loose in my car. ROFL I think I'd rather know though before it falls out. :thumb:
