Solid 1GA hood, no popup's

I've searched, looked all around, maybe I am missing a keyword.

Does anyone make a solid 1GA hood, instead of the tetris shaped OEM hood that clears the popups, goes straight down from the windshield to the latch as one solid hood...not allowing the headlights to pop-up.

*I have removed my headlight motors, cut 1 of the 2 clear plastic layers on the back of my headlight housings and my HID's shine bright enough through the clear plastic as opposed to popping up.

Since my headlights dont pop-up, I'd like to ditch the headlight covers with a complete hood. Anyone make one?

Not that I've heard of. I don't know how far a 1Gb hood is from fitting.

1Gb hoods are the ones without the "tetris" look to them, 1Ga hoods only have the cut-outs for the pop ups. I would say do to a junk yard, and pull a decent hood off a 1Gb, and see if it fits on your 90 once the headlights are out.

this would probably be your best bet. the 1gb hood has contours on both sides to fit the lights and wouldn't be flush all the way across.

you could re hook up the passenger side and make it a scoop and pop it up when u went... i dunno sounds cool to me, but might be kinda ricer-ish but i bet intake temps would decrease

I did a 1Ga headlight conversion using S13 JDM proyector headlights. Had to weld the pop up lids to my hood so that it would be 1 piece.

I read about that car, its a custom hood. I actually pulled my headlights today and began mocking up my new "headlights". I'll be welding the lids to the hood.

do u just unscrew the covers from the headlight housing and weld it to the hood ?
