I have a set of fic 650 injectors. One of the injectors seems to be bad. Is there any way I can test it out of the car or repair it? Doesnt seem like there would be much i could do for it but I was just curious. I emailed fic about my problem but they never got back to me about it. Any help would be great. Thanks

What makes you think one injector is bad?
There's a few ways to test injectors. If the car runs, use a noid light to make sure each injector is getting a good signal from the ecu. You can also listen for each injector to click each time it fires. If the injectors are out of the car, use a small 1.5 volt battery, like AAA or AA battery, hook up a couple wires to it. Each time you tough the wires to the injector it should click.

Thanks for the replies guys. Cyclone and I built his car in my garage, its where he does all his work. I have a pretty active hand in building and repairing his car. He must have missed your replies so I'll fill you in.

I diagnosed the injector after we installed the set of 650's, 2g maf, and keydiver setup. The car was missing and when we drove it down the street it was way down on power when accelerating. (obviously) We immediately went to pulling the injector connectors one by one and listening for no change in the engine. Unplugging the #3 cylinder connector didn't effect the engine as much as the others. Number 3 cylinder seemed like it was getting fuel, just not the proper amount like the injector was sticking or clogged, the hole wasn't completely dead. Coincidently, I run FIC 650's and my car is down for projects. We popped one in and the car runs great.

There is a local shop that may be able to take a look at the injector, I was told they have a bench. I'm going to handle that when I get closer to having mine running. That is all I could come up with. I think I will end up upgrading myself. I haven't really heard of injector repair.
