550's or 650's?

I know this question has been asked many times but I'm stuck. I can't choose between 550 or 650 injectors. I am planning on running a E3 16G setup with a wideband and ecuflash to tune. I run 93 octane and will probably not boost past 22 lbs. Will 550's be enough for that or should I just go with the 650's. Also, does anyone recommend a certain injector brand?

550s may be a lil small. Just go for the 650s, their really not to much more money. With ecuflash you will be able to tune them just fine.

I would 650cc's to have cushion. Hopefully, you'll be running software to compensate for the injectors, too. As far as brands, either FIC or PTE.

Just to add to my questions, do I need a AFPR with either injector and a walbro 190?

get a walbro 255, fuel lab fpr and FIC 650cc's. My car ran very well with 650's and a 16g. Youll need a fuel pressuare regulator once you do the bigger pump.

You do not need an AFPR with the 190 pump (but if you throw one in you could run a smaller injector and bump up the pressure). What are you going to use to control the injectors?

I have FIC 660's and love them, I run 20pounds on a 20g.

I agree with everyone run the 650s. I run PTEs and they perform great! I myself have not run any other brand of injector but when I was researching everyone really seem to love PTE so I went with them.

550s can be pushed close to their limit with the 14b and a turbine housing upgrade FIC doesn't even offer 550s for the dsm anymore.

You have the means of manipulating deadtime calculations. Get the biggest injector in the price range. They all cost close to the same up to a certain flow. Those in the same price range all idle/drive fine with a flash either with link, keydiver, ds-map, or ecuflash. I've used FIC and PTE. FIC flow closer to the stated flow. PTEs are absolutely fine and you won't go wrong with them at all. But FIC has great service and more accurate numbers for flow.

I rock denso 720s. Of course I have Eprom chip compensation and a SAFCII to fine tune.

I would've gone bigger, but I got them for a steal price of $65.
