So it has come to an end!!!

Hi everyone, some of you will remember me from some time back. It's been a while. Mainly because I haven't driven the car much in quite some time. Well, as of this morning I'm DSMless. Sold the old 1.8 to a young kid for $1,000. It's been fun talking with all the DSMer's all over the web, on all the forums. There were some good times and some bad. But in the end it all worked out for the best. I just wanted to thank everyone for everthing they helped me through. As time goes on, people change and so do responsibilities. I got married on August 28th and am looking forward to the rest of my life with my new wife. As I am not a wealthy person by any means, my DSM had to go as I cannot afford to hold onto to two vehicles and pay the bills. Anyway, I'll cut this short. This is a great community and these cars should be respected. The probability of me getting another DSM is pretty slim. Too much going on in my life right now. I may still lurk on the forums from time to time so I won't be gone forever.

Sorry to see ya go, Lonnie. You did some good things for the community by starting up DSM1eights, so you'll be missed, although it seems your contribution shall live on. I have the distinct impression that you'll be back at some point, these things tend to be a tough habit to break.

Cliff (Hokiedsm), thank you for that comment! I really do appreciate it! DSM1eights was a fun venture. Jason (Sapper) has done a decent job with the forum and has implimented quite a few updates since I gave him control.

DSM1eights has been through a lot and I am glad to see it still around. I know I've made some mistakes in my time but nothing I couldn't recover from. But we won't get into that. I am glad that I could contribute in any way that I could.

So to everyone here at DSMtuners and to those at DSMtalk, dsmlife and dsmetc, thank you all. It's been a real pleasure!
