So I went off roading with the FWD NT..

So I pulled off road onto this backroad with the FWD NT DD and just had some fun.

Couple to many pot holes that were a little deeper then I expected and now I have a slight problem.

When I turn the car on its slightly cold so the RPM's are around 1500ish and I hear this noise. It sounds like a rock is in my Cat and its just jumping around making a bunch of noise.

When the car warms up and gets to 1000rpms I do not hear that noise at all, but if I rev up to 1500 or when the rev's are falling from 1500+ and they hit the 1500 mark it sounds again for just a second.

I had the car up trying to isolate the noise, it sounds like its from the middle of the car exhaust area. I couldn't see any interference with anything touching, and I couldn't stop the noise or provoke the noise.

Any possible solutions that you guys could think off?

When I read the title, I thought Lofty was posting it haha,

if it sounds like a rock rattling around, check under your perhaps either your heat sheilds came loose, or rusted loose, or you may have got a rock stuck up in there somehow

Sounds like you broke the cat internals. Take you cat out and give it a shake if it makes noise you need a new one.

This is what I was thinking, I tried to bang up the cat pretty well with the car off to see if anything started to bounce around, but no luck.

And I checked all shields and there seemed to be plenty of clearance, and then the rattle came I would pull and tug on the exhaust / shield to try and get it to stop but no real luck.

1g FWD NT test pipe?!

My car has a rattling heat shield and it does that, I haven't gotten around to fix it
