I was changing out my carrier bushings and while tightening one of the nuts the stud snapped in half. I was able to temporarily band-aid fix it by removing half of the bushing and bolt the carrier back on using the remaining threads. My question is, how fudged am I? It looks like the stud runs up through the chassis, is this something I can remove and swap out from a parts car? I have a spare 2g shell. Is it welded in or bolted?

I hate snapping bolts. :|

edit: for clarification, it's the front carrier bearing, the one closest to the transfer case.

I think I'll try to weld a new stud in. Or reattach the broken half back on
