Smoking, turbo hissing

Ok so my cars been leaking oil for a little while now, but thats besides the point.

So ever since i installed my exhaust about a month ago, my car has been smokin (i think it was smoking before that i just didnt see it as much because of my stock exhaust) now it looks like white smoke, but it might have a tint of blue, but i dont know if its blue or just white. And now yesterday i noticed my turbo, (well i believe its my turbo) is hissing upon boost. Its not the same sound as spooling, its a higher pitch, and i only hear it if i give the car 30% gas and go up slowly. And today this morning im sitting at a stop light and i get a bunch of smoke come out of my exhaust, again i dont reallyno if its white or blue.

when you say "blue" smoke means turbo is bad, how blue? like sky blue or what?

could this be a bad turbo? if yeah, anyone got a good 14b for sale?

Ill take off my intake and check if i have shaft play or if there is any oil in the turbo later today.

The blue smoke is the same blue color you see from a old tractor/dirt bike (especially 2-strokes) when you start it up.

ahhh i see. Hmmm, well it seems like its getting there, like it started out whiter, but now its getting to that color

lets just say its not the turbo, what else could be a reason for smoke?

If you were running oil rich in the cylinders from a blown headgasket or blown valve stem seals leaking a ton of oil from the valve cover the piston rings are going bad... could be oil coming from the breather and through the whole intake system from the turbo presurizing it. It would have to be a lot of oil that way. My car does that now and doesn't smoke. That's all I could think of.

well the smoke is kinda blue, and its starting to smoke a lot....but on the stock boost gauge (not that its a good one) says im getting full boost...... so idk...

ok wow, its smoking like crazy when im at a stop with the car at idle. Its like a smoke screen! It never did this before. Would a bad turbo really be making it smoke so much?

It's probably valve stem seals.

but wouldnt that give off more of a black smoke, this is whiteish blueish smoke...

dude you cant keep guessing what it is, go out and check the turbo for shaft play if it has a ton then its time to replace the turbo. if it feels tight then we can worry about the other possiblities

Check the turbo for shaft play and or damage to the wheels.

Alright well i got a 14b today and i want to install it asap.

What i'd like to knwo is, what parts do i need to install it that i -CANT- get from an autozone or napa etc...

also ill be posting a video later tryin to show how much shaft play there is to see how it is and what you guys think...
