So last night my car started to idle hard. It didn't fluctuate on the gauge but it now sounds like a big drag racing car. Sounds kinda nice but I know it isn't good. It does idle a couple hundred rpm to high so I was thinking the isc. iac. (forget the actual name) so we pop the hood and look and from where the block and egr valve meets, a tiny bit of smoke comes out. It was white. Not blue. I checked the oil and it wasn't bad looking. No water or coolant but a couple tiny bubbles?
Can anyone help me out here.
Egr was replaced a few months ago.

This is a picture of where the smoke was coming from
Sorry for a bad picture.

More details - it only does it at idle. When I'm driving it goes away. But when I coast and hold the clutch it comes back. Idk if that helps.

If the EGR valve is commanded to flow into the intake and there is a leak I would assume that the engine would either act erratically or stall completely if it gets bad enough. I would find the leak first and fix that issue to make sure it isn't that but since it is leaking at this time I would have to assume it is related.

I just ordered a new iac/isc to see if it helps with it at all. And I think that smoke comes only when the car is warm. We had it running and it doesn't wanna stall. Starts fine. Just idles hard. It sounds like a built muscle car haha. I'll let you guys know what happens after the iac if anyone can still help after

Update!
Fixed the idle so far. The new iacv worked
It is below freezing out eight now and she is dumping thick white smoke from the exhaust. Tomorrow when it's warmer ill see if it is still as thick if so could it be a head gasket? How else could I check?
