My question; what's the clearance between the lowest part of front and the crash bar? The fmic in looking at is 25x5.5x2.5... Any thoughts?

I'm thinking of going from my Dejon + stock intercooler to a FMIC

My other question is can I keep my dejon tool upper piping?

Thanks for the input

Most people cut their crash bar to fit a FMIC. The dejon upper pipe won't be utilized unless it's a long route FMIC pipe kit.

You can use your uicp to run the cold side of your intercooler, just add a section from it where the smic would be like this

That's making the assumption it's long route setup. It's it's short route it won't work.

Why not just go with either the VRSF or Punishment Racing fmic kit. Both are short route, large core, and $400 or less for the whole kit. Sell your hard pipes for a better setup.

I'm thinking about it but what about the hassle of relocating the overfill tank and drilling a hole...

Is the long route really that bad that's it's worth all the extra effort?

What about intercoolers with both inlet and outlets on the same side? Looks to me like they would make up the diffrance in leanth

I had one long route too much going on, watch your grammar, in and out like liquid said look at the kits punishment is a short route. Look around, i did and got my a punishment core for short route fabbed everything myself turned out great.

because its over the $150 I want to spend :coy: , I already have the hard pipes from dejon..

this is what I'm planning to do, the only thing I'm going to do that's different is use a 1 sided intercooler, I dont understand why more people don't use one sided intercoolers?

this one has an inlet/outlet of 2.5 and my hard piping is 2"
