Hey guys, so when i bought the car it came with 2 fmic (one big and one small). The big was trashed and in bad shape so i tossed it. I have a small fmic that is about 27x7x2.5.

What sort of pressure do you think it can hold and how much hp? I will be running a custom 20g TDO6 and also 1600cc w/ e85. Also have a 3" exhaust.

I don't think holding the pressure will be a problem as long as it is decently made. With a 20g I'm guessing you may be running around 25-28psi max, so the pressure shouldn't be a problem. It's more of a question of if it will keep your intake air temps down enough in hot weather. With the E85 you just might be okay, just keep an eye out for any knock. ;)

There's a hundred components to the design of an intercooler that play pivotal roles in its cooling efficiency. Fin design, spread, thickness, row thickness, etc etc. We would be able to get a better picture with some clear, detailed photos from all sides, close-ups, etc. Until then, you have a hunk of generic aluminum (even guessing it's aluminum) and I don't think anybody will be able to give you accurate numbers..

Actually, accurate numbers will be next to impossible even with pictures, but a better ballpark figure may be able to be obtained.
