My 96 gst turbo does not spool till 5k rpms. It also sounds weak when you step on it and let it go.

I'll try to help a little,
Have you checked to see if your manifold to turbo bolts are loose? Is this a new turbo or did it come out of no where? (Meaning all was ok yesterday and today it's not :idontknow:)
Also this is time for a boost leak test.

I was driving and it happened a tube went loose and i tightened it back but i think something else is loose likeu said the manifold but my uncle dosent believe me

Like everyone else said check your manifold bolts and turbo bolts and a boost leak test. An exhaust leak can cause a slower spool and a boost leak will cause it to not hold its pressure. Also is your turbo stock or which one do you have?

Its all stock I t was the tube going yo the intercooler it back now but it dosent work still i think your right on the manifold/turbo bolts

I just saw that my wastegate is not working so i think thats the problem its stuck i guess. Is there a way to get it fixed or do i order an

If your Wastegate is stuck it would be in the open position. Did you see your actuator arm move at all? Try moving it with your finger.

Ive moved it with pliers and its still kinda hard also the arm does not move at all literally. And the pressure does not build up

Doesn't build while driving? Or free revving? As said before the arm doesn't move unless you exceed the spring pressure. That's how boost control works. If you want to test it sitting still you're going to have to Rev it hard and even then I doubt it will open. You can build boost if you Rev it hard enough but probably not full boost so you would still see no moment of that arm you probably have another leak.

+ me too, waste gate should be ok. And if it was stuck closed you you be having over boost if I'm not mistaken. (Which isn't too much of big deal with t25)

if you are really concerned with your waste gate you can test It with this http://www.sears.com/actron-cp7830-...a=00932993000P&kpid=00932993000&mktRedirect=y

Hook up the vacuum line and start pumping, it will move for you I'm sure.

Have you checked it out at all? I want you to be happy buddy :D
