Winnipeg,
I just replaced my clutch is my 95 gst.. new disc, pressure plate, flywheel and TOB.

I just vacuum bled the system and there are absolutely no air bubbles in there. I adjusted it according to the information Jack, from Jacks Transmission provides in a youtube video.

That being the switch is adjusted to the furthest point to where it is still fully activated when the clutch pedal is released. And the MC rod is adjusted until the point where it blocks the bleeder valve off and the SC rod can not be depressed.. Then it is backed off about 1/2 to 1 full turn until the SC rod can be depressed.

The pedal feels firm when depressed, but when I move my foot away to allow it to snap back it is a bit slower then it should be. Although it does fully come back up.

This was never an issue prior to replacing the clutch. I dont believe that the SC or MC are culprit..

I am at a loss as to what is happening and how to fix this. There is no fluid leaking from either the MC or the SC. I checked the rod on the MC and there is no fluid. I pulled the dust boot back on the SC and there is no fluid there either.

I dont know what else to do. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Chris.

Absolutely no difference.. Still experiencing slow pedal return! Man I dont know what else to do... Like I said I never experienced this prior to installing the new clutch components..

I don't know if this is a stupid question, LOL.. But anyways my front calipers are not mounted to the rotors, does the clutch system tie into the brake system? Would this have any effected on my pedal return?

I'm just at a loss. Pedal was fine before, clutch disc was just needed to be replaced.. Now my pedal is all screwy.

I checked all the lines going from the MC to the SC and I can not see any visible leaks. I see no swelling in any of the lines nor do I see any damaged lines..

Anyone?

You know you dont have to bleed the clutch system when you replace your clutch right? Anyway, is the fluid still amber colored or is it dark/muddy? Does pedal pressure increase when you pump the clutch pedal a few times? Have someone look at the clutch fork as you depress the clutch pedal and hold the clutch to the floor for a few seconds, to see if the fork holds the position or if the fork slowly wanders back to resting postion.

I would do the "how to properly bleed your clutch" method found in the tech articles on this site, when i was bleeding my clutch lines with the traditional method I found there was still bubbles trapped further up in the lines.

might be an air bubble or your throw out bearing. also see if your pedal needs some WD40 or something LOL
