Slim line fan alternatives? Altima fans?

Has anybody explored any junkyard alternatives to the high dollar mishimoto or FAL electric fans? Hitting the junkyards this week, some Altima fans look like they may fit and they are fairly low profile. Buschur street core FMIC piping issues are forcing me to look for low budget alternatives, and I'd rather save the money for other more go fast type parts.

I know your looking for a junkyard alternative, however eBay sells some knock-off FAL/SPAL thin fans for a very reasonable price and they work from what my DSM buddies have told me. I personally don't have these but know a few DSM'rs that do and they work great and they've been using them for years.
