Okay their are 4 wires that come from the plug and their are only two wires on the slim fan. i know that 2 wires are for the temp sensor at the bottom of the radiator. how do i wire up the plug at the bottom of the radiator and wire up the slim fan with the other two? what i did was just cut the 4 wires and spliced the black/black together and the blue/blue together and just sniped off the rest that go to the temp sensor at the bottom of the radiator but the fan isnt comming on.

thanks in advance
david

I tapped mine into the ac fan power wires, just use a multimeter to determine which is hot and ground. Now you can have the fan on at all times just by pushing your ac button. Voila.

So thats why it wasnt turning on. if i hardwired it to something that supplies a constant 12v will i need it then?

thanks

If I were going to do this, how would I know which wires to connect to if the fan wasn't in the car when I bought it. I have the fan, its just not in there right now.

If you hardwire it to an ignition on power source then there would be no need for the temp switch on the botom of the rad.

Okay i hard wired it to the boost control solenoid and it ended up frying my eprom! I guess i drew to many amps and it messed it up pretty good. Anyways im now left not knowing here the hell to wire this thing so that it stays on all the time. I know their are lots of you guys out their that have done this.

thanks
david-

yeah i know but my buddie said he wired his that way and didnt have a problem. i wire it that way and it fries the ecu. He was also the previous owner of the ecu and it didnt do anything to his car when it was wired this very same way. Anyways i guess im just going to have to wire it to a switch.

thanks for the help
david-

Hey I need help with this question too.

Can someone show me pictures on how you wired the passenger side slim fan? I don't know where to connect it towards. I already got the a/c one connected and is working good but I need both fans to turn on, Thank you.

thats probably what im going to do. thanks for all the help guys wiring is not my thing!

david-

I mean honestly it is not all that hard. Blue is power, and black is negative. Ground the fan out somewhere close by, then run the power wire up to the fuse box, and wire it to a power source that is only on when the car is on.
