slave rod?

i have done the search and the measuremnets are all jumbled up and i cannot deciphier what exactly im looking at. so, just a quick question. i took the slave cylinder rod off my car and put it in my digital caliper to measure it and it measures 4.171 inches according to my measuring device. is this stock length or the extended rod? any help would be geatly appreciated!

That would be an extended rod.

and a normal rod would be of what size?

A stock rod is 3.38in. Sorry I didn't post it before, I didn't have one accessible to measure, I had to run out to my backyard and uncover my car to get under and measure the stock length rod.
