This post is about my brother's 1992 Talon 2.0 N/T, NOT my 1990 AWD. We were trying to replace the slave cylinder internals (slave cylinder rebuild kit) and immediately ran into a problem: The slave cylinder rod WILL NOT retract back into the cylinder when I push on it (slave is still on the car). I have already done a complete slave cylinder replacement on my AWD, so i know how this *should* work. On my AWD, you could push the slave cylinder rod into the cylinder, but on the N/T it wont budge. Any thoughts on how I can get the rod to move in so I can take it off?
