Problem with Slave cylinder rebuild

So the ass as advanced auto parts gave me the wrong rebuild kit and the bore was too big, so i took the rubber seal off of the new one and put it on my old one and now when I try to bleed the clutch I can push the cylinder in but wont come back out because the seal is tight! so any ideas what I can do?

Return the rebuild kit and buy an OEM one.

Im waiting on one to be shipped to my house, just looking for a temporary fix until I get the new one, plus that oem one is over priced, I can find them cheaper

Don't expect the wrong part to work. But the right part and it will work right.

The cylinder won't come back out on it's own. It has to have some pressure behind it. Every slave I've messed with would stay in until someone stepped on the pedal.

Are you saying that when you step on the clutch pedal it won't extend?

It just doesn't keep pressure like its supposed to(like you push it in with your finger and it will come back out) with the new seal in it's wont do that it just stays in

Have you finished bleeding it? I would keep going at it.

I've been bleeding it. I couldn't bench bleed it because when i pushed the piston in it stayed in and the spring wouldn't push it back out, had to use an air compressor to push it out
