Ok here's the deal. I have a 1995 talon tsi awd that I bought in peices so I've never driven it. I have a 1996 spyder gst slightly molded, nothin special. The clutch has always, since I bought it, had an aftermarket clutch in it and no matter the brand its been real tough to push down. Which from what I've read its normal. So I've gone with it. Well the other night I had my clutch fork break so for the time being I used the fork and slave from my talon awd. Here's where it gets confusing to me, the clutch now feels way softer. Still engages/disengages doesn't slip or anything its just a whole lot softer. Now the only thing I could think of is the talon had an aftermarket/performance one. But I can't find one anywhere to support this. The one off the gst was definitely Oem ### i bought and installed it. Had the typical grey cast casing with the steel piston. Now the one off the talon was a painted blue cast casing, with a blue anodized piston. That's the only differences I could tell. But I really like it and would like to locate one just like it if in fact, that's the reason y its softer.
Any input? Lol

So I installed a new clutch release fork and greased everything real good like the end of the clutch fork where it contacts the TOB, the pivot ball, the indent on the clutch fork where the pivot ball contacts, and the other indent where the slave cylinder rod contacts the clutch fork.
Give it time. It's a DSM. It will break again.
You're right, there's nothing upgraded about it.
