Simple Turbo Question

What's the next size up from the e3 16g that is not Mitsubishi? Just want to know for sure because I don't want to get anything to HUGE just a bit bigger, something that would make 400hp easily with supporting mods. I know this has probably been asked a million times but just deal with me.

The evo3 16G is about a 50 trim. So a 60 trim would be next.

Garrett T04B V-Trim, or Garrett T04E 46-trim. Both have peak airflow near that of a 20G.

Then comes the T04E 50-trim, 54-trim, 57-trim, 60-trim, and lastly the T04B 60-1. A 60-1 and Holset HX35 can generate nearly identical airflow; the BW S256 is somewhere in there as well.


I caution against switching from a reliable direct bolt-on MHI turbo to a Garrett model based on their picky oiling and different thrust options which effect the turbo's reliability.

Yeah I'll be sure to be careful. The previous owner put in an eBay e3 16g so I kind of wanted to get it out as soon as I get everything else working correctly. Thank you for the help.
