Ask Me,
Virginia
I’d like to add a simple fuel pressure regulator to my Galant VR-4 that goes between the return on my injector rail and the hard return line. I already have a rail adapter similar to:

and a FPR with a liquid filled gauge mounted on it that can only raise but not lower fuel pressure…

This stuff all came on my Laser. I wanted to utilize it for my Galant VR-4, but was disappointed at the inability to reduce fuel pressure. It seems like this is a “Honda Type” AFPR.
I am planning on running a Wally 255 in my GVR4 and don’t want to overrun the stock regulator. I’d like the ability to reduce fuel pressure, but can’t do it with the above mentioned one.
All I see are fancy pants steel braided this and that setups which I really don’t want. I’d like to use the stock fuel lines and drop in a new fuel pressure regulator.
I don’t mind spending reasonable money on a good AFPR to do this, but I don’t want to end up with another AFPR that can’t reduce fuel pressure.
Is this possible? If so, which AFPR can meet these requirements?
Thanks
