1G Side Skirt Bolt Grommets

Recently undercoated my rocker, in order to do so I had to remove the factory bolt grommets to get to the area beneath. Both of them shattered upon removal.

The hole is 9.5 mm. I have been to Advance and Napa for a total of 4 times and can’t quite find anything snug enough.

*There are 2 bolts, I am not talking about the white clips*


I don’t really want to riv-nut it. I am hoping someone has a good solution with a P/N to go with that I can buy and not have to think about..

I actually took my digital calipers to the parts store and measured, definitely looked crazy in Napa measuring every one of there bagged fasteners.

I tried a set of those, no dice. I was really hoping those would work, quite possible there is a smaller size I could see if it’s anywhere close..

This P/N is for the white clips.

MB361579 would be the P/N , but that picture does not look like what came off.

I’ll see if I can find it under that part number I guess.

I’ve had poor luck with Mitsubishipartswarehouse and the other one.

I like it. Not that any water is “supposed” to get in there, I’m sure it does, I figured having the plastic ones in would still allow it to weep. But I am not entirely sure if that’s correct.


I’ll call mitsu tomorrow and see if then P/N above is the correct one.

I searched every thread about side skirt clips etc and found nothing for this specific one, so i figured we could keep this as a resource once resolved.

Yea, the originally P/N you linked was incorrect but the correct P/N was on the diagram.
