Calgary,
I tried searching this but I'm not really sure what to call it. When the car is running, if I take off the oil cap should the air be sucking in or blowing out? Someone told me it should be sucking in, I don't think he knows what he's talking about.

it is in Kpa so I don't think it would be in inches actually. I'll do the paper check tomorrow. Wouldn't it be funny if all this was for nothing! LOL I did learn quite a bit though, thanks.

So today I put some paper over my oil filler and found that it was doing neither! It is the vibrations that's making jump up. Thanks for all your help romeen!!:thumb:

Good news!!:D I would still recommend doing the boost leak test when you get a chance as you probably have some minor vacuum leaks causing your slightly low idle vacuum. Remember that those blow-by vapors contain all sorts of crap that will contaminate and break down your oil if not fully evacuated. Get the idle vacuum up to 18-22inHg and your all set. And yes, you will have a slight sucking through the oil filler hole as expected.:thumb:

Lucky you! Mine is blowing like crazy...I have a thread about it on here.

Is your PCV hooked up correctly and how much vacuum are you showing at idle? Try following some of the suggestions mentioned in this thread and I will try to help you out.
