hello everyone I'm new here and my question is, i have a 1999 eclipse gs, and when i start the car when its cold, it chugs and has low idle and wants to stall out if you press on the gas. you can also hear a sucking sound witch seems to be coming from TB. but it gos away after the car is warm, then i can start it up right away , its only when the car sits still for 5 hours, so i changed a lot of th sensors around the TB , i cleaned the Tb, looked at all the hoses and replaced a lot of them, and nothing seems to work, i even got a new egr celluloid (Sp?). so any help would rule,
thank you

Throttle shaft seals, blown intake manifold gasket, loose manifold, loose throttle body bolts. You can try spraying the area with WD-40 or other inflammable fluid to find where it speeds up when the engine starts to draw it in, or chase through the area with a piece of vacuum tubing with one end held up to your ear.

well i bought a new (iac) and i know its not that, i tried spraying the wd40 and nothing happend, so i still have no clue

Mine is doing almost the same thing besides idling low but if i take off when after it set awhile it trys to miss and chugs but after it gets 1/2 way on temp it runs fine but every now and then it miss's like crazy even when its hot and i also changed the iac with no luck I'm going to take it to a dealer tomorrow and let them check it out and once they find the problem i can let you know :)

that would be amazing thank you, and ill check that part. in th morning keep me updated and ill do the same
