hey guys i was wondering, should i trade my 420A gs, for a GST/X i wanted to, for that awsome performance or what not, but i heard they are alot less reliable then the non turbo version... whats ur opinions?
 
your car is reliable as u make it. if u drive your car like you are racing all the time, your engine will have alot more problems. a 4g63 can run into many problems , im not going to get into them though. with a turbo car you have to pay attention to your engine alot more. if you want to go fast and already have a GS your best bet will be to keep it and work from there. if you think you can afford a gst/x in good condition then go for it. either way make sure u buy a DSM :dsm: :talon: :laser:

i looked into selling my car and getting a turbo model a while back. but for the price they were asking, and the price i could have sold my car for, i could have bought a stage 5 turbo kit from hahn race craft, and had a little change left over. so if you can find a cheap one, then go for it if you really want to, but like he said, just make sure you get a dsm.
 
I almost succumbed (sp?) to the 4g63. But the person who was going to buy my car backed down because she couldn't come up with all the money even tho her and her dad tried to haggle my ass from 6000. I ended up letting it go for 5500 and they couldnt come up with that much money.

Anywho, i kept my car and modified it over the summer (well more than it already was) :p . Next year (summertime) I plan on getting another car (deciding between an extremly low mileage gsx, new srt4 or wrx) i want to stay with the dsm family, although the srt4 is an expansion of the 420a engine...so we shall see what happens.

One thing to consider is your insurance rates, i know mine where going to go up $60/month.
