2G should i rip off my 2g tsi wing?

Ok guys I bought a paint sprayer and plan to sand this baby down and give it a fresh coat on the body and also my 98 rims sometime in the next 2 weeks. im looking for suggestions for a direction to head with this..

this week is body work week. im doing all the dents and also decided im taking off the plastic pieces on the doors. i assume there's holes in the door to keep those on? and that ill need to be filling those in with a Bondo job or perhaps even a little weld patch.

i have been staring at my '98 wing for a long time and cant make up my mind... rip it off or not? i think it looks kinda goofy but ive begun to feel attached now that im ready to actually do this paint job... im not sure how it will look completely wingless

has anyone done this and if so could you show me some pictures??

I do not have any pictures of my buddies talon whose wing we removed, but personally i think the talons without a wing look way better.

I did it and it looks so much better, I have a pic in my profile go check it out. I think it gives the talon a more smoother look.

The 2gb talons are sooo sexy. Especially the aniversery ones with the colors leather and such.. I don't know how you could discrace something that awsome..Just my 2 cents..

I am kind of leaning towards taking mine off. They look much cleaner without it. Not to mention the rear mirror is pretty much useless with it on.

i dont have a 2g but i was dead set on getting a spoiler for my 1g, and i actually got two of them. then i changed my mind and decided that i really preferred it without it. i say take it off!

I am not exactly sure. The boomerang 2g talon spoiler has like 6 holdes and the halo has like 4. There was some welding and bondo that needed done. Pretty good fit thou I think.

That Black Talon looks sick - May have to do with the slicks?
The Talon does look cleaner and lines flow better w/o the wing. The dodge stealth also looked Hideous with that boomerang BS! Chryslers changes weren't always for the better IMO. Good Luck either way.

leave it i wanted to take mine off my 97 talon i when i got it off the car just looked like an eclipse it makes the car unique and it fits the car

I took mine off my 97 n/t talon and it looked good but then I put the 95 talon spoiler on it. I liked it without and with so I'd probably just say leave it.
BTW Guys I have a 97 or 98 Talon spoiler if anyone wants to buy it, dirt cheap I have no need for it.

WOW thanks for all the input! Im pretty sure im going to leave it on. im not sure i can part with it, i kind of like the talon pride.
the door plastic is coming off though for sure.

ill post pics sometime soon perhaps this weekend when i start sanding
