fremont,
Ohio
My car is almost road/track ready, and I really dont want to get to the track and hope for something I'm not going to see. I've never raced a DSM (at least not being the driver), so I'll have to learn the car. It should be easier to launch than my GTP, right???
what ammount of boost should I shoot for?
Here's my mods:
16g
255 FP
exhaust header
MBC
cut airbox w/ K&N
studded head
BR metal head gasket
4-angle vale job
Balance shafts removed
2100 lbs ACT pressure plate
6 puck clutch
Mods on the way:
Evo O2 sensor housing
2.5 inch exhaust
Cyclone intake
20 over forged/coated pistons
Tires-undecided-maybe Nitto's or Comp T/As (if I can find any)
I'm hoping to have the 255 installed before racing. And I still have to clean the intake and SMIC.
Thanks
-J
PS-I've only had this car for 3 weeks, and just dont want my parade rained on

tuning is a big fast ugly biiiatch....
, and freakin interference engines-I lost my first head (just valves really) a few days ago and had to put the backup head on it. Sucks whn you gotta put your backup stuff on it and havent been to the track yet. Done venting now.
