It's a pretty good deal..All mods are brand new, new head, needs timing done..

Got the guy down to a grand..

MY experience with cars that don't run are some times bad. When a car doesn't run you have to think the worst and when its a timing issue it could have bent valves :noon:

The guy has two heads..Must have jumped timing and bent valves..But new head with no bent valves is installed right now, just not timed..

id pick it up, for a grand you cant go wrong since your can probably turn around and get your grand back from someone else if its not your cup of tea

The only thing is it's a 5 speed..I would have at leat 100 in towing and timing..Ohh and couplers for the fmic..

I already got an offer to buy it down the road if i'm still not liking the 5 speed..

Well the girl got home and we had the talk..And for some reason she won't let me spend my money right now..We have no place to put it really, I could rent a storage unit..but she wouldn't go for that..

Although I could rent a storage place to put it in over winter, or take to my sisters house, or take to her parents which is a couple miles away..

I know deals like this done come around too often..And I have to let this one go...

That seems steep for a non-running 1G when I've seen guys buy lightly-modded 1G AWD's for $600-$800 that were in running condition and just needed a little work (tune / paint / rust).

I already told the guy I'm out...I'm gonna text im back today, and tell him if he still has in in the spring I'll be there to pick it up....I doubt it will happen that way, but I guess I'll find out..
