Has anyone ever seen the inside of a flexpipe collapse?
I just replaced my exhaust on my 1ga talon and I cut everything up to make it easier to handle to scrap it (btw factory cats here bring in 45 bucks!!!!) and when i cut it open next to the flexpipe (side closest to cat. converter the flexpipe inside collapsed (outside still intact) and there was only a hole three quarters of an inch in diameter to allow exhaust to pass through.
Car idles much better now too. could be this prob combined with full 3" stainless catless exhaust!!!!!!

. so i welded it up and a couple other spots ahead of the cat only to find the muffler seam was toast along with a coupe other spots so i did the megan downpipe/testpipe/catback. i only found this when i started cutting up the old exhaust. any ideas what would cause this? ive never seen it before.
