even 12" shouldn't be a problem if you'd just cut the bottom of the bumper bracket a little bit.
I have my bumper support hacked this way and I fit my 11" core perfectly fine.

This thread also has great pictures for what i'm talking about, my bumper is cut the same exact way

this pic was taken before the pipes were routed, but we were able to keep the fog lights and didnt have to cut the bumper at all. (just a really tight fit) it is short routed with U bends on both sides. we have been VERY happy with the results of the FMIC/dsmlink/650fic/evo3 @ 20lbs.

nope the offset one. (they are at the bottom and the pipes come out just below the fog lights.

Yes i did have to cut the bumper support (or would have had to but it was already done when my wife had bought her car). i also had to cut the drivers side plastic cover for the IC pipe coming FROM the turbo (I used the factory LIC hole on the passenger side). i fabbed my own pipes piece by piece (and installed) them in about 4hrs. As far as brackets go, i have one at the top middle bolting under the "tool tray" support (if you take the tray off the top between the lights you will see what im talking about. I had to bolt to the frame for the bottom 2 brackets, but i just used self tapping screws and it has held fine for 8mons now (the brackets are just barely visible below the bumper). It may be a little low for some but the top of it sits right where the factory hole starts (in the middle of the bumper) and comes maybe 1/2" down below the bottom. If i remember i will take some more pics and post them.
