Ok, I've looked and im still puzzled.

I got a 31x11x3 fmic with 2.75 end tanks. Now i need piping.

well dejon sells some of the piping that i want (the one that goes from the cold side to the wheel well and the uicp setup with there intake is planed) and ETS sells the u/j pipe that goes on the hot side, but the problem is, Dejons are 2.25 and ETS is 2.5, would it hurt to run say 2.5 on the hot side and 2.25 to the throttle body???

i just dont want to spend $$$$ in piping  Also i dont really want to run short route, but if the pipes are right and the price ill go that way. I know i need reducers from 2.75 to 2.5 or 2.25 depending on the piping.

make sence??? Help:p

I agree with you; I wouldn't want the diameter of the IC pipes changing, especially going from a larger diameter to smaller. Have you considered buying a universal IC kit? Then you can make the pipes go where you want them to go. It's not very difficult to cut and bead the pipes yourself and then you will have a constant IC pipe diameter. I made epoxy putty beads on my aluminum pipes and I have never had one fail or blow off.

I've seen some uni's on ebay just not sure what to do. ETS makes a 2.5kit but I'm on a budget and cant fork over $400 in piping. I need the pipes to run to the 18g turbo, and from the cold side to the fender. if i run short i could just do it that way. right now im waiting for some help to mount this thing and start from there LOL.

snap i totaly forgot about that, thanks for the heads up!! will make sure the pipes are alum then.

I hesitated to say it but eBay is what I'm talking about. You can save money buying just the pipe on eBay. Some eBay universal kits will come with these cheap plastic couplers and screw clamps. You won't want to use these couplers but the kit may be worth it just to get the aluminum mandrel bent pipe. Use the cheap couplers to get it all to fit right and then toss them. Replace the cheap couplers with good silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps from another vendor. I bought my couplers and clamps here: Silicone Intake Systems

sweet thanks for the link, yeah im probably going to get that alum kit i seen on ebay (90esh shipped i beleave) and getting couplers and i have like 5 tbolt clamps already (buddy gave them to me last year, left overs so i snatched them up LOL) Im not sure on there size, but going to get some couplers from them and some clamps (just in case). I'll probably run 2.25 as thats what dejon use's for there piping and i want it to run the stock route, now i just need to find out what every ones J pipes are in there 2g install kits. thanks again for the link.

I got my piping from ebay and works great. I received 3ply couplers and t bolt clamps, theres really nothing crappy about the kit, i was very satisfied, theres a ton of guys running ebay piping and intercoolers that are very satisfied.
