FMIC piping question

Iam installing an Evo 8 FMIC this weekend, and Iam gonna do the piping my self. I want to run a short route piping set up. I have a 16g with a 14b j pipe and I was planning on buying some U bends off of summit. I need some advice from those who have made their own piping on a 2G. I was thinking of just buying 3 2 inch U bends for the hot side, and 3 2.5 inch U bends for the cold side. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

What help are you looking for exactly? I would go with 2.5" for upper and lower.

Ok I will buy 2.5 inch U bends for each side. I just wanted to know how many U bends it would take to make all the piping. Or any tips from people who have made their own piping.

i would get 3 of the 2.5" u bends. get them at 6" radius if thats an option also, if it doesnt specify the radius, then dont worry about it.

I have another question, when I install the front mount will I need to worry about the safety airbags if I have to tamper with the bumper?

if you disconnect your battery i don't think you will have to worry about it. good luck

I replaced the bumper and installed the fmic without disconnecting the battery. Granted I forgot to, but they didn't go off. I believe airbags go off a system of inertia, that is you have to stop really suddenly, for them to go off, rather than impact.

Airbag sensors react on deceleration, not banging around on the bumper or removing it. The sensors are not mounted in the bumper either. Don't worry about the air bags.
