So what are the benefits on have a larger exhaust cam couple with a short duration/high lift intake cam?

In essence;

Short Duration\High lift - Better Idle, more vacuum and still being able to get the valves open further for more are into engine

Longer duration\high lift - Lumy idle, less vacuum, and gets the valves open longer\further for more air in\out engine.

Short duration is going to be better if you have to pass emissions, it won't run like a mini v8, and won't shake your car at all.

I see. Considering running a short duration/high lift intake cam with a slightly larger exhaust cam. Want power to peak at my currect rpm(6000) at least.
