I'm putting my new suspension on soon, and I have a question first.

Should I worry about installing some sort of dust cover to protect the rod/shaft? My previous set-up had them, but my new Koni's don't say anything about using them.

What do you guys think? Critical or no?

I think way back when I had my Eibach springs and KYB's they didn't use a dust cover and they were fine. But what the hell, why not run one? Better safe then sorry. But both sets of coilovers I have and have had use a dust cover.
I'd say run one, can't really hurt anything, only help. :)

Go get the smallest Rancho covers from any parts store. Then do a little cutting and they'll fit fine. You can even use the OE upper cups that held the stock covers.
