Important, or not necessary? I didn't put them on when I installed my Konis because they wouldn't fit without modification, and the VFAQ showed the person not putting them on. Now one of my friends is changing the dampers on his car, and he's special ordering new ones for his setup. Should I be concerned and get some for my car?

I did it cause it doesn't cost much and you might as well do it while your in there. Just think of it as preventative maintenance.
