shifting noise

I have a 95 tsi and when I'm driving and I press in the clutch and hit the gas it makes a click noise...like the cable is grabbing it or something...what could this be...I have shep stage 2 tran with centerforce dual friction clutch..aluminum flywheel...

The clutch pedal clicks?
Pedal assembly might be worn.

Try this. Push pedal to the floor, let it come up. Then wait like 5 seconds and giveit a light pull with your foot. If it has any play it needs to be replaced.

The pedal doesn't click...it sounds like transmission or something...even if I'm in cruise control...if i go down hill and then smooths out when it goes from coasting to gear again it like tugs...makes clink noise...like shifter cable Idk...

Usually the throw out bearing makes noise only when the clutch isn't pressed and goes away when it is pressed. I don't think it's a TOB.

So it makes the noise when the clutch pedal is pressed and you hit the gas while it's pressed? Or it makes the noise when you press either pedals?

It makes the noise after clutch is pressed like when I give it gas and it grabs u kno...even in cruise control like I said if the car is coasting then its given gas it clicks...

So its when you accelerate, not necessarily when you let off the clutch right?

ok i looked under my hood a couple days ago and the shifter cable slips right off the bushing?? so i bought new aluminum ones maybe install tomoro...see what time it is when i get out of work...hopefully this fixes it...
