i have a 95 gst and whenever i shift and let out on the clutch it clunks, espically from 1st to 2nd. like a bad motor mount? it also does the same clunk when i cross railroad trackd and hit bumps. it dosent seem normal but i just got the car so i dont know what is normal.
thanks,
tim

Check the u-joints/carrier bearing of the drive shaft, I had the same problem. It happened the most form 1 to 2 and inot reverse.

if i put it in reverse and go a little bit, then hit the brake, it looks like the front tire shifts a little. could it be a bad ball joint or something. it dose the same thinng if i am stopped and let out on the clutch to go forward.
