Shift Knob Showoff

lemme tell u something about a metallic shift knob, living in Florida....i said that my shift knob is off the hook, what ends up happening, me being the fool i am bought a shift knob from a site from a kid in FL thinking he had no idea what he was giving up, instead i learned he was selling it b/c when i t gets hot in a car, like in FL, metal shift knobs heat up and burn when u get in n start driving, n since i took out my a/c it's even worse

haha thats a bummer, i live in eastern washington it gets pretty hot over here, hits the 100's easy, but i still have my ac, maybe ill make a little sleeve for it haha

Edit: anyone have suggestions on a shift knob for a 1g with a short shifter, because if it just like a ball its pretty hard to shift with, i need one that a little longer but not like that stock one

same as mine just a different color i think... absolutely hate it ... it doesn't sit right in my 1g. so its upside down haha. waiting on my 2g weighted shift knob to come in the mail now

I had a MonsterKnobs shift knob in my 3G eclipse and moved it to my Protege when the 3G got totalled.

I will be buying one for my Galant once it gets closer to running since it is so awesome. Great feel and NEVER gets too hot or cold because of the material. Also, it is direct screw on so no dumb set screws to deal with getting loose.

My 4th dsm was a 91 gsx. Timing belt snapped on me so i was gonna do a total rebuild. I was bored so I took a rod and piston out of the block and fused the 2 together so the piston wouldn't move. Drilled a hole in the bottom of the rod and stuck it on my dodge ram work truck. It was my "dsm piston shifter" I did it for a laugh and took it off a day later.

Some of you have nice quality knobs on there, but please clean those interiors up. At least for the picture forget the knobs some cleaning would be a much more noticeable improvement.
