I just got done installing the STL-175HP shift kit. It was way easier than i originally thought it would be. But i've never been an auto trans guy. It took quite a few hours but then i took a few breaks and went as slow as i could along with John's videos (IPT). John actually made it so easy. I definately recommend the kit to anyone who can read. listen. and knows how to use a wrench.
When the RTV finishes drying i'll post if i actually did it right (LOL).

Been debating on doing one of these for a few years on my auto car. Will probably have a buddy at a trans shop do it.

That's awesome! I was just about to order one of these and attempt it myself. I also just watched those videos for the first time last night. It doesn't seem that bad and it's a little more affordable than the $425+shipping IPT wants for it installed in their "reworked valve body". Hope you get great results. By the way, did you do everything exactly how he did it? or by the instructions with the kit? Also where did you put RTV? Thanks
