I was wondering what you guys think and who you would go with and why?

Here is what i need

basic rebuild along with

3-4 gear upgrade, 4 spider diff., 3-4 custom shift rail, steel shift forks.

THANKS

i was also debating on this.. BM has a good rate for their service.. however.. shep is shep.. even 1 negative review on BM posted above.. is a big factor in decision.. as ive never heard any negatives from shep..

UndergroundR32 can u please elaborate on how they "fugked" up ur homie's tranny?

I should have elaborated on that before. I don't remember off hand exactly what happened, but I think it was something like he couldn't keep the car in gear. It was always popping out. They determined it had something to do with the transmission and sent it back to B&M and they fixed whatever it was that they screwed up... This happened right after their rebuild on it, mind you. I'll ask the guy who built it later tonight and get back to you.

ive had both trannies...i started out with a fully built bm..that i had to get rebuilt because my galant 1st gear blew up....so i had them fix it and it ended up being another 1500...when it was back in my car it shifted like shit.. ...my buddy also has a 2000 dollar bm trans and his 3rd gear is starting to grind after 1500 miles...i shipped my new trans to shep...he did it in ONE DAY...i was amazed all i said was i need my car very soon and he hooked me up..shep is a great guy and isnt out to rip anyone off..his work is legit and i love the trans....trust me go with shep...

well that does it.. guess its shep thats for sure.. i havnt heard/read ANY bad reviews of shep trannies.. like i said before.. it relaly makes it hard for the competition wen they get 1 or 2 bad reviews.. which seems like nothing.. but compared to 0.. the decision seems clear..

thanks for the feedback.. cause im lookin at my options as we speak..

keith is the one who builds all the trannies at bm...hes good but u know...they told me that when i brougth the trans it would be 1k to fix..then he calls me 2 weeks later and says my trannie is done but its 1500 not 1k ...becuase he thought my tranny was someone elses...i almost shit my pants....thats ridiculous..he coudlnt even call me to tell me before he did the work.....bad business
